Always wondered.
Used of course...
Oh, and the mileage should be 100k.

Not a Camry that's for sure. Kickass fuel economy and quality when fuel gets to $5.00+ a gallon this summer

Well, since you can't go back further than 1994, Yugos are out. It must be here:
Still, $850 is way more than I can imagine anyone paying for a 15 year old Daewoo.

Not bad.
1K fair ccondition (they all are) with hatchback and manual.

retailed new for $3 one of the options was it would start itself on fire so you can collect insurance and buy new car

We all drive hoopties. Every shop i've worked at sir, we all have drive reregular things. I've been in the car biz for 13 years. Still broke as a joke lol :]

Geo Prism, Tracker, Metro, Storm.
I just named them all. That's right. Deal with it.
Or anything with Daewoo on it.

Do you really think the ac or power steering still works?
![]() 03/30/2014 at 18:40 |

when you retire you should get a lotus or aston
![]() 03/30/2014 at 18:50 |
|
Power steering prolly has a 75% chance...a/c would depend on the climate, if it's in the deep south it has a much higher chance just because we can't stand not having it, northerners don't need it as much so it's less likely to still be working.

nope, don't want to deal with this all day, especially stupid ass Lotus lol :]
Lotus are in my oppo-inion, the best driving road cars ever on Earth! AAAANNNDDD! the absolute WORST quality vehicle on Earth as well :]
Aston will get better once AMG comes in. Well, engine wise, everything else will still be poop. Blokes, not "engineers", build Astons by hand, that is not a good thing as you can see :]
I just want an 80's Volvo 240 with an LS3 swap. I would have built it all myself and know everything about it. Nothing fancy, but to my specs :]

I like lotus but I shall not argue because you know more than I
![]() 03/30/2014 at 19:11 |

dude, trust me when I tell you that they are badass. Nothing I've ever driven can hold a can't to any Lotus, it's just the "not Lotus" things. Steering column locks, window regulators, ABS accumulators, a/c items, radios, wiring, and just random car bits that are obviously not a priority to building the best chassis on Earth.

would it be worth buying a lotus or Jensen healey
![]() 03/30/2014 at 19:38 |
|
I honestly don't know a whole lot about Jensen but any issue on cars from anywhere are "car issues" not specific brand issues. The objective is always to purchase the best vehicle at the best price. Things will wear out but it's all basic mechanical. That's the beauty of those kind of cars, it's pretty much all basic mechanical. To replace an item, it's just nuts and bolts. Variables are limited to finding parts and cost. Besides that, I think you're good to proceed :]. Purchasing a 2004 V12 Mercedes S-Class is another story, a British car is just a lighter American muscle car :]
